An illustrated talk in which Revd David Weir reflects on a lifetime in the Church of England
In a mixture of prose, poetry, music and song, David takes us on an entertaining and informative tour through the Church of England and shows us how a culture of rich diversity has allowed different styles, manifestations and characters to flourish. Among the colourful characters from the past we meet are the Revd William Thornton, first rector of Simonsbath, the Revd Hawker of Morwenstow and the great Jack Russell.
